Job Description

The Human Resources Assistant will coordinate and manage full-cycle recruitment for security personnel and administrative roles. This position involves drafting, posting, and managing job advertisements across various job boards and platforms. The assistant will screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and schedule interviews with hiring managers. Furthermore, they will assist in developing and executing recruitment strategies and participate in job fairs. Maintaining applicant tracking systems and ensuring timely communication with candidates is also a key part of this role.

ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and manage full-cycle recruitment for security personnel and administrative roles.Draft, post, and manage job advertisements across various job boards and platforms.Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews, and schedule interviews with hiring managers.Assist in the development and execution of recruitment strategies and job fair participation.Maintain applicant tracking systems and ensure timely communication with candidates.Support the onboarding process, including background checks, reference verifications, and documentation compliance.Assist in preparing new hire packets, processing employment paperwork, and conducting orientations.Keep up-to-date and accurate personnel records in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.Provide general administrative support to the HR department, including filing, report preparation, and scheduling.Respond to employee inquiries related to policies, benefits, and HR procedures.Assist in organizing staff events, trainings, and compliance meetings.Support efforts to enhance employee engagement and company culture.Essential SkillsHuman resources experience or education is preferred.1–2 years of experience in HR support, recruiting, or a related role, with security industry experience being a plus.Familiarity with HR and recruiting software systems, such as ATS and HRIS.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel.Experience with HR systems such as ADP and Paycom.Work Environment

The position is located on-site, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. The office is situated at 2901 Druid Park Drive Suite, MD. The Human Resources Assistant will have their own office space. There is an opportunity to convert to a permanent employee with a PTO and benefits policy, along with incentives and bonus programs that are being developed.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
