Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Analyst to lead and manage project plans for People Operations initiatives. This role involves supporting onboarding and offboarding processes, managing employment changes such as promotions and manager moves, and fielding day-to-day employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and time-off programs. You will provide dedicated support to Canada-based employees and maintain accurate records for payroll and reporting.
Responsibilities
+ Lead and manage project plans for People Operations initiatives.
+ Support onboarding, offboarding, and team member change processes.
+ Process employment changes, ensuring approvals are captured and records remain accurate for payroll and reporting.
+ Field day-to-day employee questions about policies, benefits, and time-off programs, escalating complex issues as needed.
+ Provide dedicated support to Canada-based employees, ensuring compliance with Canadian employment policies.
+ Maintain records related to human resources activities and policy changes.
+ Provide support for People Operations systems and integrations.
+ Implement and maintain HRIS information for planning and reporting.
+ Maintain internal database files and develop custom reports for Senior Management.
+ Coordinate retrieval and reporting functions with payroll.
+ Serve as HR liaison to the IT function.
+ Analyze, format, and report on HR trends and data insights to key stakeholders.
+ Maintain digital personnel files and assist with compliance reporting.
+ Contribute to process documentation and continuous-improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of experience in HR (Shared Services, Operations, and/or HRIS).
+ Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now.
+ Strong Excel skills.
+ Canadian HR experience, with a focus on Ontario.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience working directly with Head of People Ops and Total Rewards.
+ Ability to work independently.
Work Environment
This position is 100% fully remote, allowing you to work independently from the comfort of your home. You will report to the Senior Director of People Ops and collaborate with a smaller team. The role is initially a 6-month contract-to-hire position, with the possibility of becoming permanent if you are the right fit. Our company is rapidly growing, with a current workforce of 900+ employees, expected to reach 1,500 by the end of the year.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stamford, CT.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $48.00/hr.
