Human Resources Administrator

SUMMARY:

The Human Resources Administrator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This role is responsible for maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding and offboarding processes, supporting benefits and payroll coordination, and ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. The HR Administrator serves as a key point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Administrative and Employee Support:

o\tMaintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files on electronic shared drive

o\tProcess new hire onboarding, including offer letters, background checks, I-9 verification, and orientation scheduling

o\tCoordinate employee offboarding, including exit paperwork and benefits notifications

o\tMaintain Attendance Policy, point system, logs and communication to Supervisors on a daily basis

o\tDocument all attendance line calls

o\tCreate Job Descriptions format and work closely with Hiring Managers

o\tOnboard new hires

2. HR Systems and Data Management:

o\tEnter and update employee information in HRIS

o\tEnsure data accuracy and timely processing of HR transactions

3. Recruiting and Onboarding Support:

o\tCreate job postings on Indeed and LinkedIn account, filter resumes, log applicant tracking, and schedule interviews

o\tSupport HR training initiatives with content creation and maintaining completion records

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Qualifications

o\tBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required

o\t2+ years of HR administrative support experience required

o\tRecruiting, Onboarding and Administrative experience is required

o\tExperience in manufacturing with multiple shifts environments is preferred

o\tProficiency using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint and Word

o\tExperience using an HRIS, preferably ADP Workforce Now

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ferndale, MI.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
