Keep the department running seamlessly by anticipating needs and resolving issues before they escalateManage compensation-related intake through ServiceNow and departmental inboxesSupport annual compensation planning processes and related initiativesOrganize and maintain documentation to support audits, compliance, and trackingCoordinate meetings, calendars, materials, and logistics for leadership and project teamsProcess vendor invoices and track departmental budgetsMaintain HR intranet content and support policy and process implementationLead and support projects while serving as backup to other HR administrative specialistsRequired Qualifications*What We?re Looking For

Background ScreeningMichigan Medicine conducts background screening and pre-employment drug testing on job candidates upon acceptance of a contingent job offer and may use a third party administrator to conduct background screenings. Background screenings are performed in compliance with the Fair Credit Report Act. Pre-employment drug testing applies to all selected candidates, including new or additional faculty and staff appointments, as well as transfers from other U-M campuses.
