Duties & Responsibilities: (Essential Functions of Position, Major Responsibilities, Summary of Key Duties, Special Assignments, Relationships) + Coordinate recruitment activities for certified, classified, non-bargaining or administrative staff. + Support onboarding processes for new employees, including orientation, licensure verification, background checks, and required training. + Maintain HRIS, applicant tracking and other required databases. + Assist in addressing employee concerns in collaboration with HR leadership. + Maintain accurate and confidential employee personnel files and records in compliance with legal and district requirements. + Support compliance with federal and state employment laws, licensure requirements, and board policies. + Prepare HR reports, correspondence, and documentation as needed. + Assist with salary placement, contract processing, and additional contract tracking in alignment with negotiated agreements and board approvals. + Serve as a resource for interpretation of labor agreements. + Support audits, accreditation reviews, and state reporting requirements related to human resources. + Provide a positive customer experience by responding to questions and/or requests. + Recommend opportunities to improve policies, processes and practices. + Work collaboratively across departments and buildings within the district. + Participate in HR projects and initiatives as assigned. + Maintain confidentiality at all times. + Perform other related duties consistent with the position as needed. Required Qualifications: + Associate's Degreeorequivalent experience in Human Resources. + Previous experience working with HRIS and applicant tracking systems. + Previous experience creating, maintaining and utilizing excel spreadsheets. + Previous experience with other Microsoft Office Products (word, powerpoint). + Previous experience with Google documents and drive. + Previous experience analyzing and auditing data. Preferred Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree. + Experience working in a public school district or unionized environment. + Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements.
