REN Business Unit:

Activities

Audits and reports

To ensure that business management systems are in place to satisfy the requirements of the Group preferred HSSE Management System in line with the following:Scheduling of External audits (Management systems and legal compliance)Follow through on all corporate Internal and External audit findingsManagement of non-conformances and corrective actions regarding HSSE audits and assessments conducted.Conduct trend analysis development and implementation of corrective action in line with One Maestro.Management of HSSE electronic management systems.Develop, review and maintain HSSE policies, procedures, templates and protocol To oversee the implementation of Office 365 tools and apps in line with the HSSE roadmapManagement of all HSSE related documents in terms of document controlTo ensure constant adherence and compliance to the Group’s HSSE (Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality) standards, any local by-laws and government legislation thereby minimising all risk pertaining to the company’s assets and ensuring the safety of all people.Management of the COREX processTraining, mentoring and coaching HSSE Practitioners on HSSE SystemsTo manage all HSSE Communication Programs and Initiatives such as Safety Golden Rules and KPIs.Provide support to all other HSSE Disciplines with regards to the various initiates and projects in each portfolioCarry out any other lawful and reasonable instruction by the HSSE DirectorIdentify, plan and conduct HSSE training requirements, including training on critical tasks, always maintaining training recordsTo escalate identified high risk conditions and follow up on the actions required to remedy the situation.


Advising and training

Advice and train within area of responsibility on the development, execution and effectiveness of the HSE Management systems.Develop and present awareness training on HSE issues when required.Advise on the Health of HSE systems and resources needed

 

People Management

To ensure effective management of employees through continuous people management, staff development and coaching / mentoring to ensure a positive working climate that will attract and retain skilled manpower and increase productivity Candidate Profile 5 years experience in Renewable Energy Independent Power Producers Programme (REIPPPP) Project Bidding, Award to Financial Close, Construction and OperationsBachelor’s degree or formal training in HSE&Q fieldSuccessful completion of courses related to HSSE Management Systems and Practices, and HSE legislation Environmental Management System Audit: Lead Auditor ISO 14001: A lead auditor course based on ISO19011 SAATCA registered / or Equivalent Excellent skills in problem solving, team building, ingenuity and initiative are required to coordinate problem resolution and to execute schedule requirements within a team environmentStrong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent leadership and team building skills, and being able to influence decision makersValid code 08 drivers license  Additional Information TotalEnergies values diversity, promotes individual growth and offers equal opportunity careers.
