HSE Intern

Make It Matter.** **Job Description:** HSE Inspections and HSE programs: • Conduct routine safety inspections of work areas, equipment, and facilities to identify potential hazards. • Assist in documenting findings and recommending corrective actions. • Follow up on corrective action implementation. • Support in sustainability data update and analysis including and not limited to CO2, energy, water and waste. • Coordinate assessment for Noise, Chemical Exposure Monitoring and CHRA as per OSHA requirement. • Asisst in IL6S progression including Qualification for Safety SWP owners in DMS & SGA (safety map, LOTO & MG, BOS, Manufacturing Std, QM matrices, etc). Training and Awareness: • Support the development and delivery of safety training programs for employees at all levels. • Assist in creating and updating training materials. • Facilitate safety awareness campaigns. Incident Investigation: • Participate in incident investigations, gathering data and assisting with root cause analysis. • Help to develop preventive measures to mitigate future incidents. Documentation and Reporting: • Maintain accurate HSE records and documentation. • Prepare reports on safety performance metrics and trends. • Assist in developing and updating HSE procedures. Environmental Compliance: • Monitor environmental compliance activities, including waste management and pollution control. • Assist in data collection and reporting to regulatory agencies. Project Support: • Contribute to HSE aspects of project planning and execution. • Identify and address potential HSE risks on projects. **More about this role** Qualifications: • Currently enrolled in a degree program related to Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, or a relevant field. • Strong interest in health, safety, and environmental management. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
