In addition to our core facility and project management capabilities, our platform offers direct access to our Best-in-Class services including ESG, Security Consulting, Workplace Strategy, and Workplace Experience. **About the Role:** Ensure that our account is compliant with Safety Contract Management requirements outlined by both our client and internal guidelines. The HSE Associate will also assist the HSE manager with account safety department functions such as: conducting incident investigations, delivering training, record keeping, and performing safety observation tours. The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, adeptness in analyzing and interpreting various regulatory statutes, have experience with implementing and auditing processes, and demonstrated effectiveness with cross-functional collaboration in a service provider setting. This job is part of the Environment Health and Safety function. They are responsible for organizational programs and procedures to safeguard employees and surrounding communities. **What You’ll Do:** 1. Safety Compliance: Ensure that our account maintains compliance with all safety regulations and standards set forth by our client governance, internal governance, and regulatory bodies. 2. Safety Contract Management: Review and analyze safety contract management processes at the account level to ensure that all requirements are met. Ensure account’s activities are in alignment with contractual obligations. 3. Risk Assessment: Assist with regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement measures to mitigate risks to personnel, property, and the environment. 4. Training and Education: Assist with developing and delivering safety training programs to employees to ensure awareness of safety protocols and procedures. Analyze training needs to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines. 5. Incident Management: Participate and assist with safety incident, near miss, and accident investigations. Ability to identify root causes and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence preferred. 6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities, including inspections, incidents, and training, and prepare regular reports for management of contractors. 7. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in safety processes and procedures, and work collaboratively with cross functional teams to implement changes. **What You’ll Need:** High School Diploma or GED with 3-4 years of job-related experience. A comprehensive understanding of a range of processes, procedures, systems, and concepts within own job function is required. Ability to evaluate and communicate unusual and/or complex content in a concise and logical way. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Advanced organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
