HRIS Specialist (HYBRID)
HRIS Administrator Location: HYBRID (Chester, CT) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (40 hours/week) Employment Type: Contract Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HRIS Administrator to support the day-to-day operations of our Ceridian Dayforce system and assist with the transition to Workday. This contract role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced HR environment and has strong experience in HRIS administration, data integrity, and reporting. Key Responsibilities + Maintain and administer Dayforce HRIS, ensuring smooth daily operations. + Perform data entry, updates, and clean-up tasks, including adding positions and correcting feed errors. + Support compensation planning by opening and configuring relevant system modules. + Handle password resets, user access issues, and general troubleshooting. + Generate and manipulate reports to provide HR and business leaders with actionable insights. + Collaborate with HR and IT teams to support the Dayforce to Workday migration. + Ensure data accuracy and confidentiality across all HRIS activities. + Assist with onboarding processes and other HR administrative tasks as needed. Top Skills – Must Haves + Hands-on experience with Dayforce HRIS(administration, reporting, troubleshooting) + Solid understanding o Human Resources processes and data management Secondary Skills – Nice to Haves + Experience with Workday (especially during implementation or migration) + Onboarding support and reporting analytics Qualifications + Proven experience administering Dayforce, including compensation planning and reporting. + Workday experience/familiarity. + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to manage confidential information with discretion. + Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. + Prior experience in HR or HRIS administration preferred. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
