Safety and Human Resource Manager

Our client, an Automotive Fastener manufacturer in Fraser is seeking a Safety & Human Resource Manager to join their team. This position ensures that all safety regulations and HR policies are followed, promoting a secure, compliant, and productive environment for all employees. The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing setting and demonstrates a proactive approach to problem-solving, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance.
**What’s the Job?**
+ Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs specific to fastener manufacturing operations.
+ Ensure ongoing compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local/state regulations.
+ Lead safety training sessions including lockout/tagout, PPE use, forklift safety, and emergency response.
+ Assist in recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding hourly and salaried employees.
+ Support managers in handling employee relations, coaching, and performance issues.
+ Maintain employee records and manage time and attendance systems.
+ Assist with payroll, benefits administration, and HR reporting as needed.
+ Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the facility.
**What’s Needed?**
+ Knowledge of Federal, State & local guidelines (OSHA
+ Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
+ 2+ years of combined experience in HR & Safety within a manufacturing envoirment.
+ Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment
