HR Representative/Executive Assistant
Job Title: HR Representative/Executive Assistant Responsibilities + Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements for the CEO. + Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents. + Serve as the liaison between the CEO and external stakeholders. + Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism. + Organize and coordinate executive-level meetings, including agenda preparation and minute-taking. + Assist with other departments as needed for projects and events. + Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance reviews, and offboarding. + Ensure proper record keeping, facilitate company-wide communication, and assist with wage and salary administration. + Manage the company’s leave of absence and workplace accommodation requests. + Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. + Serve as the point of contact for employee relations issues, providing guidance and ensuring fair resolution. + Manage benefits administration, payroll coordination, and employee records. + Ensure compliance with labor laws, EEO regulations, and workplace safety standards. + Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals. + Coordinate employee engagement initiatives, training, and development programs. Essential Skills + 5+ years of Executive Assistant/Office Manager experience, including supporting executive leadership, calendar management, minute-taking, and presentations. + 5+ years of HR experience, including onboarding, benefits administration, performance reviews, recruitment, and accommodation requests. + Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field + Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, BambooHR). Work Environment This position is 100% onsite with working hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The office environment is located at the headquarters in Bethesda, MD. The company is a small, women-owned government contractor with under 100 employees, providing exposure to all levels of leadership.
