Job Summary:
The HR Onboarding & Training Coordinator role will be the initial point of contact in Human Resources for our employees. The position includes a variety of responsibilities which support the HR Team, Employee Relations activities, and the Onboarding responsibilities which are a critical component of our recruitment process.
The Details:
Position Type: Full-time, Year-round
Start Date: As soon as possible on next available check in date (approximately three weeks)
Pay:$24.70/hr.
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Coordinate travel logistics, new hire paperwork, and system updates of all new hires, re-hires, transfers, and promotions.Support and facilitate new employee orientation programs; maintain the standardization of content and delivery.Coordinate scheduling, materials preparation and the facilitation of all programs according to standard.Ensure that Xanterra Hospitality Standards are in place throughout the resort. Periodically monitor the property to ensure that all standards are upheld.Facilitates and schedules background check follow-up meetings with individualized assessments.Facilities and schedules drug screening sites to support pending new hires screenings.May periodically audit a new hire information in HRIS systems, tracking reports, and employee files.Perform annual audits ensuring that each employee personnel file contains compliant records of state, company training.May periodically audit a random sample of How’s It Going (HIG) forms for each department, ensuring that they are completed for each current employee.May update and/or develop Personal Action Notices (PANs) as needed.Monitor and follow-up with HR Leadership, regarding the status of new management hires, ensuring that they receive all Company and Property required training.Support of LMS (Learning Management System) where needed.Facilitate with departmental and local Park partners providing proper communications when needed.Help enforce all company policies and procedures.Complete all daily, weekly or monthly-required training.Assist with new employee paperwork and enter Cloud Suite as needed.Support HR shuttle transportation for incoming new hires and departing new hires. Includes but not limited to international social security trips, etc.Cover HR Front Desk and be responsive to incoming phone calls and walk-in traffic as neededPerform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Exceptional customer service skills, including the ability to maintain composure; ability to project a welcoming warmth and sincerity to all candidates and employees; Must be friendly, courteous, well-spoken and helpful (even-tempered, assertive)Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and listening)Process-driven with strong organizations skills.High level of attention to detail and follow-through skillsExperience with ATS & HRIS system preferredMust have the maturity to keep confidential information safe and guardedMust project a professional appearance, demeanor and groomingMust be able to work independently, and as part of a teamThree years’ administrative experience, preferably in a Human Resources office.Basic math aptitude/experienceProficient with Microsoft Office, data entry and learning new systemsHigh School Diploma, some college preferredMust have a valid driver's license
Physical Requirements include:
Constantly listening, hearing, seeing, standing, walking, using eye/hand coordination, handling, wrist motion. Frequently walk and lift or carry up to 30 lbs.Ability to work in extreme temperatures.
