HR Manager/Safety Manager
**Human Resources Manager** _Hagerstown, MD_ FT Direct Hire position paying $100k-$135k **Do you have a passion for the manufacturing industry?** Our client, a privately held manufacturer with a long-standing reputation for quality, reliability, and innovation, is seeking a dynamic **Human Resources Manager.** In this role, you’ll lead and strengthen the HR function. **Position Summary:** The Human Resources Manager will be part of a small but dedicated HR team and play a key role in shaping and executing the company's people strategy. This is a hands-on leadership position ideal for someone with a strong background in manufacturing and a passion for employee engagement, compliance, and continuous improvement. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead and manage all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training, compliance, and benefits administration. + Provide hands on leadership in Environmental, Health & Safety + Partner with executive leadership to support organizational goals through strategic HR initiatives. + Maintain and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies. + Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture aligned with company values. + Oversee talent acquisition efforts tailored to the unique needs of a manufacturing environment. + Support change management and workforce development initiatives. **Well qualified candidates will bring:** + A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field + SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred. + Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a manufacturing setting. + Previous Environmental, Health & Safety experience in an industrial setting + Strong knowledge of employment law, HR best practices, and labor regulations. + Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills. + Ability to work on-site and contribute in a hands-on, collaborative environment. **Position comes with:** + A salary of $100k-$135k + 401-k with a match, health, dental and vision; PTO; paid holidays; tuition reimbursement ; health club membership and a health and wellness program + A successful, stable, family-owned company culture + Opportunities for advancement & professional development + A chance to make a meaningful impact on the continued success and future of the organization **Apply today** to learn more about this unique opportunity!
