HR Manager Moncks Corner, SC Full Time Experienced Share (https://seafoxboats.applytojob.com/app/share/DS3k44I5tv) Human Resources Manager Position Summary The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading all human resource functions within a manufacturing/production environment. This role partners closely with plant leadership to support operational goals, maintain compliance, improve employee engagement, and ensure a safe, productive, and respectful workplace for both hourly and salaried employees.  Must have a servant heart and love people.  We are only as good as our employees feel! Key Responsibilities Employee Relations & Workforce Management + Act as the primary HR contact for hourly and salaried employees across production departments + Address employee concerns, conduct workplace investigations, and manage disciplinary actions in accordance with company policy and employment law + Support supervisors and managers with performance management, coaching, attendance issues, and corrective action + Promote a positive shop-floor culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and respect + Engage with employees Recruitment & Staffing + Manage full-cycle recruitment for manufacturing roles including production, skilled trades, maintenance, and supervision + Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and training for new hires, ensuring safety and policy compliance + Maintain job descriptions aligned with operational needs and physical job requirements Compliance, Safety & Policy Administration + Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including wage and hour, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA-related HR practices + Partner with Safety and Operations teams to support safety initiatives, training, and incident documentation + Develop, implement, and enforce HR policies and procedures specific to a manufacturing environment + Maintain accurate employee files, training records, and HR documentation Training & Development + Coordinate training programs for production employees on attendance and leadership development + Support supervisor and lead training to strengthen frontline leadership effectiveness + Assist with succession planning and workforce development initiatives Compensation, Benefits & Timekeeping + Assist with benefits administration and employee benefits communication + Support wage reviews, shift differentials, overtime policies, and incentive programs + Oversee timekeeping and attendance policies in coordination with payroll HR Metrics & Continuous Improvement + Track and analyze HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, safety trends, and employee engagement + Identify trends and recommend improvements to retention, productivity, and morale + Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with production goals Qualifications Required + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field + Or 4-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment + Strong working knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance + Experience supporting workforces and frontline supervisors + Excellent communication, organization, and conflict-resolution skills Preferred + HR certification (SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR) + Experience in high-volume or multi-shift manufacturing environments + Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills + Experience partnering with safety and operations teams Competencies + Practical, hands-on HR leadership + Strong judgment and decision-making + Ability to build trust on the production floor + Attention to detail and follow-through + Comfortable handling sensitive employee matters Work Environment + Frequent interaction on the production floor + Exposure to manufacturing conditions (noise, PPE requirements, varying temperatures) + Occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekend availability to support production schedules Benefits & Perks + Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance – Eligible after 60 days of employment. + 401(k) Retirement Plan – Start planning for your future today. + Paid Weekly – Enjoy the convenience of weekly paychecks. + Paid Time Off (PTO) – Available after 90 days of employment. + At Sea Fox, you’re more than just a team member, you’re part of our family.
