HR Manager
The HR Manager is responsible for managing the daily activities of the Location HR team and supporting local leaders in driving HR actions and initiatives. This role acts as an advisor to employees and management, helping to resolve issues and conflict situations, and provides guidance in performance management. The HR Manager plays a critical role in ensuring that the HR team operates effectively and efficiently, and that HR practices are aligned with the needs of the business and governmental regulations.

Your responsibilities

Manage the daily activities of the HR team, including scheduling, prioritizing tasks, and monitoring progress

Support local leaders and board in driving HR actions and initiatives

Act as an advisor to employees and management, providing guidance on HR policies, practices, and procedures

Build strong relationships between management and employees, fostering a positive and supportive work environment

Provide guidance and support on employee-related issues, such as performance management, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions

Oversee the maintenance of accurate and up-to-date HR records and data, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations

Monitor HR metrics and KPIs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance HR processes and outcomes

Mentor and develop HR team members, supporting their professional growth and helping them to achieve their goals

Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees to support their professional development

Collaborate with other departments and functions to ensure that HR practices are aligned with the needs of the business and support its strategic objectives

Coordinate with external HR service providers, such as payroll providers, recruitment agencies, benefits providers, training vendors and lawyers

Our Requirements

Master’s degree in human resources or a related field, or equivalent experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR, with a track record of success in managing HR teams and driving HR initiatives

Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members to achieve their best

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and resolve conflicts effectively

Strong understanding of HR policies, laws, and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance in all HR practices

Commitment to ongoing learning and development, with a willingness to stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in HR
