The HR Manager – Training & Compliance is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing employee training programs and ensuring organizational compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. This role plays a critical part in fostering a culture of continuous learning and ethical business practices.
Key Responsibilities:Training & DevelopmentDesign and deliver engaging training programs across all levels of the organization.Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training opportunities.Manage onboarding and orientation processes for new hires.Partner with department leaders to create role-specific training plans.Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve content and delivery methods.ComplianceMonitor and ensure compliance with labor laws, workplace safety regulations, and company policies.Maintain and update employee handbooks and policy manuals.Lead internal audits and prepare for external compliance reviews.Develop and deliver compliance-related training (e.g., harassment prevention, ethics, safety).Serve as the point of contact for regulatory agencies and legal counsel on HR compliance matters.General HR SupportAssist in employee relations investigations and resolution.Support performance management and disciplinary processes.Collaborate with HR team on strategic initiatives and process improvements.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on training and compliance.Strong knowledge of employment laws (FMLA, ADA, EEOC, OSHA, etc.).Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and HRIS platforms.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $43.00/hr.
