HR Generalist
Description We are looking for a dedicated HR-Generalist or HR- Manager to join our team in the northern suburbs. This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in supporting the workforce and ensuring the smooth execution of human resources functions. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in employee relations, HR administration, and benefits management to foster a positive and compliant workplace environment. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with plant leadership to deliver strategic guidance on human resources policies and workforce planning. • Oversee all stages of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, development, retention, and exit processes. • Ensure accurate tracking of attendance, timekeeping, and preparation of payroll. • Implement and manage HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook while staying compliant with labor and employment regulations. • Address employee relations concerns, conduct thorough investigations, and facilitate conflict resolution. • Support benefits administration and act as a resource for employees regarding benefit-related inquiries. • Maintain and utilize HRIS systems to manage employee information and streamline HR processes. • Provide training and development opportunities to staff to enhance skills and career growth. • Monitor workplace conditions and address issues to maintain employee satisfaction and productivity. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, preferably in a generalist role. • Strong knowledge of employee relations practices and conflict resolution techniques. • Proficiency in HR administration, including policy implementation and compliance. • Experience in managing onboarding, training, and workforce development programs. • Familiarity with benefits administration and the ability to address employee inquiries effectively. • Proficient in using HRIS platforms to manage employee data and streamline processes. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships across all levels of the organization. • Solid understanding of labor laws and employment regulations to ensure compliance.
