The HR Generalist will oversee essential HR functions including payroll reporting, 401(k) administration, and benefits coordination. This role requires an intermediate HR background, experience in communicating with leadership, and the ability to manage HR operations independently in an onsite environment. The position offers a traditional in-office schedule (8am–5pm) and supports a growing organization with opportunities to enhance HR structure and processes.
ResponsibilitiesOversee payroll reporting and administration.Coordinate 401(k) administration and benefits.Communicate effectively with leadership.Manage HR operations independently.Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).Ensure compliance with industry regulations (940, 941, 1099).Essential Skills3-5 years of relevant HR experience.Experience in payroll reporting and administration.Proficiency in onboarding and administrative support.Knowledge of compliance reporting.Experience in human resource management in the construction or manufacturing industry.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with enrollments and payroll time cards.Industry experience within manufacturing or construction.Office management task experience.Familiarity with e-navigator (Onboarding tool).Expertise in 401(k) administration.Work EnvironmentThe position operates within a manufacturing environment with a business casual dress code. Occasionally, you may need to walk to the shop floor. The team comprises approximately 129 employees, with 20-30 working in the office. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8am to 5pm onsite.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $37.00 - $42.00/hr.
