We are seeking a HR Generalist to partner with the People & Culture team to support a productive and equitable workplace by managing and standardizing core HR processes, including leave, onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations, with a strong focus on retail and hourly populations. This role drives efficient, compliant HR operations while promoting fairness, integrity, ad leader-led solutions.
This hybrid position requires onsite presence at our corporate office located in Salem, NH (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)
What You'll Do:
· Lead and standardize process and tasks related to FMLA, leave, onboarding, offboarding, and employee relations, with a focus on creating consistent and efficient practices that support both retail and hourly worker populations.
· Provide support to the local People & Culture team as well as Global Business Services teams, assisting with overflow tasks during peak periods, and leveraging experience with retail and hourly workforce dynamics.
· Contribute to the preparation and execution of annual HR processes, such as performance, engagement, objectives, and merit procedures, by applying best practices for standardization and process improvement, especially those benefiting hourly and retail staff.
· Serve as a trusted advisor on basic employee relations matters to hourly employees, ensuring actions maintain integrity, comply with employment regulations and company policies, and are handled with fairness and consistency. Encourage self-help solutions where possible.
· Oversee workers' compensation processes for hourly and salary employee populations, including incident reporting, claim coordination, and compliance with applicable state/federal requirements.
· Serve as a backup resource for the People & Culture team, supporting a range of HR administrative functions as required.

Minimum Qualifications – Education & Experience
· Associate's degree in Business, Human Resources or related field; or equivalent relevant work experience.
· 3+ years of experience in a HR Generalist role with 5+ years in the HR field total.

· Maintains discretion when handling confidential information.
· Shows strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and reliable follow-up abilities.
· Experience in using HR or comparable platforms such as Dayforce and Taleo.
· Solid proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and related applications.
· Excellent communication skills (both verbally and written) and ability to exchange information with others clearly, concisely and professionally with individuals at all organizational levels.
· Ability to read, write, and speak English at a proficient level.
