You’ll be instrumental in:
Leading recruitment efforts, including job postings, resume screening, and interview coordinationConducting new hire orientations and managing onboarding documentationSupporting employee relations, investigations, and disciplinary actionsEnsuring compliance with federal/state regulations and internal policiesCollaborating with program managers to meet funder requirementsDriving process improvements and streamlining HR operationsUtilizing tools such as ADP, Excel, and paper-based systems to manage HR workflowsWhat We’re Looking ForEducation: Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience consideredExperience: Minimum 3–5 years in a Human Resources Generalist role, ideally within nonprofit or healthcare settingsSkills:Strong knowledge of HRIS systems (ADP preferred)Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data managementExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities independentlyHigh level of professionalism and confidentialityIdeal Candidate TraitsStrategic thinker with a hands-on approachPassionate about improving processes and team performanceComfortable working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environmentCommitted to equity, inclusion, and community impactLocation & Schedule📍 Hartford, CT

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $65000.00/yr.
