HR Generalist

\n\t\t\t\t\t

The HR Generalist is responsible for providing and facilitating various human resource functions with a focus on employee relations, policies and procedures and performance management for all business locations. They will also be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR Director while being a primary contact for internal employee relation needs as well as supporting company culture initiatives.\n\n•\tHandles employee questions and or concerns regarding HR policy, procedures or employee handbook interpretations.\n•\tStay up to date with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Ensure company policies and procedures comply and recommend best practices. \n•\tAssists department managers and or supervisors with employee inquiries, performance review process, coaching, counseling and terminations.\n•\tAssist in managing employee relations matters including conflict resolution, investigations and disciplinary actions. \n•\tMaintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentation including employee files. \n•\tAssist with manger training and development initiatives. \n•\tAssist in the coordination of staffing, recruitment, onboarding and open enrollment processes during peak times and as needed. \n•\tHandle off boarding process and exit interviews. \n•\tPerform internal HR audits to identify gaps and areas for improvement \n•\tMaintains and coordinates employee recognition and appreciation programs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

\n\t\t\t\t\t

•\tBachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred with 3+ years related experience in Human Resources required. A combination of education and experience will be considered, construction and multi-state industry experience preferred. \n•\tSHRM-CP or PHR a plus\n•\tOriented to provide excellent service throughout the organization and its continued growth.\n•\tExcellent verbal and written communication skills. \n•\tService orientated with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\n•\tExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.\n•\tExcellent ability to multi-task with multiple competing tasks.\n•\tAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.\n•\tStrong problem solving and conflict resolution skills. \n•\tProficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint and PowerPoint)\n•\tStrong knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements. Preference to multi-state experience.\n•\tCollaborative work style and ability to work effectively across departments.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
