At a Glance
Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Directorto join theAudio Video Division. The Human Resources Director is responsible for providing leadership and strategic partnership to the business on organizational development; policies and programs covering employment, compensation, benefits, performance management, employee engagement, employee relations, recruiting and retention; workforce systems; and compliance with all applicable federal, state and local laws.
What Will You Do?
+ Providing leadership coaching, employee engagement and relations, talent acquisition, development and retention, culture, compensation, organizational design and change, organizational and performance management, training, and development in an environment that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion.
+ Developing, building, and growing a high performing HR team; promoting a culture of trusted partnership, customer service, while actively encouraging and fostering the sharing of ideas and cross-functional collaboration
+ Championing, amplifying, and embracing and a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in partnership with our ERGs, Leadership, and all employees
+ Acting as a leader for both your own function and across the organization, driving innovation and change, setting goals, communicating key messages, and embodying the core values of Legrand
+ Initiating, developing, implementing, and administering HR programs, practices, and policies that support the business and promote a positive relationship between associates and the company
+ Anticipating the needs of the organization and proactively drive talent strategies that allow the business to maximize business performance
+ Ensuring compliance with local and federal laws and regulations, by identifying legal requirements and government regulations affecting human resources functions and ensuring they are supported by the appropriate level of policies, procedures, and reports
+ Serving as a link between management and employees by handling questions, interpreting, and administering policies and programs and helping to resolve employee relation issues
+ Leading and driving employee engagement together with cultural change and integration related deliverables for the business units
+ Developing meaningful people analytics to drive and shape business decisions
+ Leading and championing progressive recruiting methods and strategies for timely and effective hiring; working with the recruitment function and/or outside recruitment firms and assisting with the recruitment process; conducting candidate interviews and facilitating the interview process, performing reference checks, and working with hiring managers to prepare and extend offers of work
+ Promoting employee development initiatives and tools including performance evaluation and feedback, succession planning, performance improvement plans, training and development, supervisor/leader training and coaching, and resource requirement planning
Qualifications
The ideal candidate holds abachelor's degreeand ten(10)years progressive Human Resources experience, with at least three(3)years in leadership roles; or any appropriate combination of education and experience.
