You must possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills, collaborate effectively with leadership and employees, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities + Develop and manage the talent management process, including assessing staffing and skills needs, attracting and recruiting talent, conducting background checks, onboarding, fostering career growth, and enhancing engagement and retention. + Identify key areas of risk and develop risk mitigation plans in compliance with federal, state, local laws, and company policies. + Cultivate a culture of appreciation and celebration through engagement events, years of service recognition, and additional activities. + Partner with the leadership team to execute the company’s human resource and talent strategy, focusing on conflict resolution, talent recruitment and management, training, and education. + Provide support and guidance to management and staff on complex and sensitive issues, including requests for reasonable accommodations, allegations of wrongdoing, and terminations. + Analyze employee data to ensure indicators' integrity and company-wide consistency. + Create and manage a competitive talent management process, including market competitiveness, performance evaluations, coaching, performance improvement, and career development. + Identify training needs and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors on education programs. + Implement recruiting and hiring strategies to attract employees from diverse backgrounds. + Manage all HR staff, activities, communications, and reports. + Oversee the HR budget, including vendors and contractors. Essential Skills + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required. + Preferred 7 years of varied Human Resource experience, including 3 years of management experience. + SHRM-CP preferred. + Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills. + Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. + Demonstrate active listening. + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. + Ability to create and communicate new processes and procedures. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. + Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work under pressure. + Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. + Conduct activities with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. + Thorough knowledge of employment laws and regulations. + Proficient with or able to quickly learn Paycor or similar HRIS. + Knowledge of Union Collective Bargaining Agreements is preferred. + Valid Driver’s license, acceptable insurance, and ability to drive to all company facilities.
