Location: Portland, OR Bakery
How you will contribute
Help execute the company's Labor Relations Strategy
Build proactive relationships with our local Unions representatives and partner to drive Implementation of Contract Changes
Work closely with the core production team to build positive relations and provide insights to site Engagement Plan
Partner with front line leaders on matters related to Oregon and Federal Leave Management, Labor Relations and other HR Capabilities to deliver business objectives
Drive rigor on Loss Intelligence and eradication for People Team related losses, such as Absenteeism and Overtime
Provide day-to-day advice and support to the business on contract administration issues Partner with the people team to drive improvements to the HR processes, including grievances, HR systems and processes and partnering on investigations
What you will bring

Relevant Human Resources experience
Strong Analytical Mindset and experience in working with data
Ability to relate to and communicate with all levels of Leadership and Union Representatives
Drive for Results, Customer Service orientation and Care for people
Problem Solving ability and agility to navigate through challenging LR situations
Continuous Improvement Mindset to drive relevant changes
Experience in a Unionized environment preferred
Professional Education or Certifications in Human Resources preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required in Business Administration, Human Resources or related field
3 or more years of relevant human resources or labor relations experience
Experience is a CPG / Manufacturing environment is highly preferred
Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing
Strong facilitation and presentation skills, with the ability to relate to people in all parts of the plant and organization
The position requires strong influencing skills as much of their success will be through others
A “boots” on the ground approach with engagement with Core (hourly) and Support (salaried) colleagues
The base salary range for this position is $66,400 to $91,300; the exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results.
