Job Summary The HR and Office Administrator supports the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, serving as a primary point of contact for employees and applicants while ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant HR processes. This role supports hiring and onboarding workflows, employee lifecycle administration, payroll preparation support, internal communications, and office operations. The HR and Office Administrator partners closely with hiring managers, recruiters, internal stakeholders, and external vendors to support a growing, partially remote workforce Key Responsibilities • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees and applicants, responding to HR related inquiries with professionalism, discretion, and timeliness. • Coordinate hiring and onboarding activities, including interview scheduling, offer administration, background and credit checks, new hire paperwork, I-9 processing, and welcome communications. • Partner with the System Administrator to coordinate equipment provisioning and asset logistics for new hires, including device requests, shipping, tracking, and the return of company-issued equipment during offboarding. • Administer and maintain personnel files and HR documentation, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. • Support payroll preparation activities, including sending timesheet reminders, resolving unapproved entries and PTO discrepancies, calculating overtime premiums, and reconciling data prior to payroll submission. • Conduct exit interviews and guide departing employees through offboarding steps, coordinating with external partners as needed. • Draft, update, and maintain job descriptions in partnership with hiring managers to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance across roles. • Prepare and distribute internal HR communications, including onboarding materials, birthday messages, and employee spotlight features that support employee engagement and connection. • Maintain HR trackers and operational records, including organizational charts, PTO records, employee rosters, onboarding metrics, and other HR reporting tools. • Manage day-to-day office operations for the corporate office, including coordinating office supplies, on-site logistics, and vendor support to ensure a functional and professional work environment. • Coordinate recurring in-office activities and employee engagement logistics, including weekly employee lunches and company events, with attention to scheduling, budget considerations, and employee experience. • Assist leadership with administrative tasks, reporting and special projects. Qualifications & Requirements • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HR administrative, coordinator, or generalist-support role. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with employees at all levels. • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and workflows in a fast-paced environment. • High attention to detail with a strong commitmen

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
