HR Accounting Analyst

As a Payroll Accounting Analyst, you will provide financial accounting support for LATAM and Canada, managing monthly accounting processes, reporting, and analysis. You will ensure financial information is fairly presented in accordance with US GAAP and firm policies, support audit activities, and maintain effective communication across a global organization. Your role will contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives, and you will build strong relationships with internal customers and partners.

Job ResponsibilitiesManage monthly accounting processes, reporting, and analysis for supported areasDevelop and document policies and procedures for managed areasEnsure financial information is fairly presented in accordance with US GAAP and firm policiesProvide timely and accurate financial information to managementSupport internal and external audit activities and inquiries with a controls mindsetMaintain effective communication lines across a global organizationEstablish and maintain relationships with internal customers, including Planning and Analysis, HR, Sourcing, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Corporate Tax, and Legal Entity ControllersOversee General Ledger bookings and monthly close processes, including balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, and variance analysisDrive process improvements and support automation initiativesExecute deliverables with strong analytical and financial skillsTake ownership and work independently, while contributing to the broader teamRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance, with demonstrated career progressionStrong US GAAP accounting knowledgeExperience with General Ledger bookings and oversight of monthly close processes, including balance sheet reconciliation, journal entries, and variance analysisStructured mindset with process improvement orientationProven ability to interface with various partners and customersStrong interpersonal and presentation skillsStrong analytical and financial skillsCreative self-starter with strong initiativeAbility to multi-task and succeed in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience with automated financial systems (SAP), database management, worksheet-modeling tools (Excel), and EssbasePreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and SkillsPublic accounting experience, large corporate experience, and/or CPAExperience supporting process improvement and automation initiativesMulti-national language skillsExperience working in multinational organizationsCommitment to accuracy and complianceExperience with payroll accounting in LATAM or CanadaFamiliarity with internal audit and controls processes
