Job Description An employer is looking for a highly skilled Raw Materials HPLC Scientist 1 to join one of our largest national life sciences clients on their raw materials lab for a contract-to-hire opportunity. In this role you’ll work to test raw materials that will be used in drug tablets; such as the raw materials used to create acetaminophen tablets our department tests the raw acetaminophen and inert fillers such as microcrystalline cellulose prior to these materials being assembled to a finished product. You will also be doing verification testing once the drugs are assembled. In order to be successful on this team you must have a degree in chemistry, microbiology or biology, and have 3-5 years of professional lab experience. You also must have a solid background in GMP specific to raw materials, and prior experience working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing lab or within a pharmaceutical contracted lab. You must also have hands on experience with HPLC in order to be successful on this team. Skills and Requirements • Bachelor of Arts or Science in chemistry, microbiology or biology • 3-5 years of professional lab experience • GMP background – unique to raw materials • Chromatography experience – LC, GC or both • Specifically experience with GCFID, VWD or RID • Compendial (USP/NF or EP) styles testing experience • Familiarity with Empower • Prior experience working within a pharmaceutical manufacturing laboratory setting • Ability to commute to their Lebanon, NJ location and be on site 5 days/week
