**InfiniBand Network Engineer – Responsibilities** + **Design and Deploy** InfiniBand network configurations tailored to meet the organization's high-performance computing (HPC) requirements. + **Configure and Fine-Tune** InfiniBand switches, routers, adapters, and related hardware to ensure optimal efficiency, performance, and reliability. + **Implement Security Protocols** to safeguard sensitive data transmitted over the InfiniBand network, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal policies. + **Monitor and Troubleshoot** network performance issues to maintain uptime, resolve technical challenges efficiently, and proactively address potential disruptions. + **Collaborate with Vendors** to assess new InfiniBand technologies and provide strategic recommendations for infrastructure improvements based on current trends and best practices. **Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. + 5+ years of hands-on experience working with InfiniBand technology in enterprise or lab environments. + In-depth knowledge of InfiniBand architecture, protocols, and standards. (Expertise in RoCE is a plus.) + Proven experience configuring and troubleshooting InfiniBand network components (switches, routers, adapters, etc.). + Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices. + Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and manage multiple priorities. + Effective communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical topics to non-technical audiences. + Industry certifications such as InfiniBand Trade Association (IBTA), Cisco CCNP, or equivalent are preferred. + Experience with coding/scripting languages (e.g., Python, shell scripting) and familiarity with code repository tools.
