Housing Coordinator
Overview **This position will be physically located in Marshall Islands in support of LOGCAP** This position is responsible for operating the Housing Office by keeping an accurate count on all residential keys, obtain proper documents for releasing keys, and have excellent communication with the housing representatives and customers. Responsibilities ** This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company.** + Process incoming and outgoing permanent, TDY, and transit personnel on official government orders according to the Housing Office procedures. + Maintain accurate manning roster and update the billeting database. + Provide daily information to the Admin Clerk and Housing Supervisor. + Maintain key control and billeting records. + Ensure linen is issued to the occupant's room. + Answer incoming phone calls and walk-ins. + Coordinate with all tenant units representatives regarding room reservations and issues. + Maintain an accurate work order log as well as submitting work orders to the help desk on a daily basis. + Monitor and check all vacant quarters on a daily basis. + The housing coordinator receives guidance and direction as necessary from housing supervisor with regards to policies, directives, and professional development. Qualifications + Overview + This position is responsible for operating a Housing Office, assisting the Housing Supervisor with keeping an accurate count on all keys, filing system of all occupants hand receipts, have excellent communication with the housing representatives and customers. + Responsibilities + Process incoming and outgoing Permanent, TDY, and transit personnel on official government orders in according to the Housing Office procedures. + Maintain accurate manning roster and update the billeting data base. + Provide daily information to the housing supervisor. + Maintain key control and billeting records. + Answer incoming phone calls and walk-ins. + Coordinate with all tenant units representatives regarding room reservations and issues. + Provide guidance to the Housing Support Attendant on daily tasks. + Maintain an accurate work order log as well as submitting work orders to the help desk on a daily basis. + Monitor and check all vacant quarters on a daily basis. + The housing specialist receives guidance and direction as necessary from the housing supervisor with regards to policies, directives and professional development. + Qualifications + Minimum Qualification + High School Diploma/GED required. One year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree required. + Must be able to obtain and maintain on post driver’s license. + Experience + 1-2 years of experience in housing. + Incumbent must demonstrate a high degree of English comprehension, including speaking, understanding, reading, writing, and typing. + Must be detailed oriented and organized. Must have computer system administrative experience, should be have experience in procedural development as well. + Skills + Must be proficient in using Microsoft Office software (i.e. Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). Interpersonal and communication skills are requirements of this position as there is constant interaction with army personnel as well as fellow co-workers. + Must be flexible and have excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to recognize and quickly resolve customer issues, lead furnishings personnel, and work independently with little or no supervision. + Must be able to handle multiple tasks at any given time. + Working Environment + This position works both indoors and outdoors and should expect to work in conditions that may include rain, humidity, warm climate. + The worker is subject to both environmental conditions. Activities occur inside and outside. + Physical Requirements: + Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. + Work may require heavy lifting, stooping, climbing, prolonged standing, prolonged sitting, and working with or in areas where a potential could exist for exposure to physical, chemical, or biological agents. + Employee use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required for some situations. PPE includes, but is not limited to, head, foot, torso, respiratory, vision, and hearing protective devices. + Must comply with all Fire and Safety Regulations and post policies.
