Evening Shift: 3:00pm - 11:30pm 1-2 days per week, this position will flex to night shift: 6:00pm - 2:30am **Overview** **Barnes-Jewish West County Hospital** offers highly specialized surgical and medical services in an intimate environment and is known for outstanding patient care. With 64 private patient rooms, 14 operating rooms and four intensive care unit rooms, the facility was designed to provide a comforting environment that is innovative, efficient and centered on the patient experience. The campus features a park-like setting with landscaping and a walking path that winds through the grounds and connects to Millennium Park. Barnes Jewish West County Hospital Environmental Services Department providing excellent housekeeping and infection prevention processes while striving to provide a safe, welcoming, healing environment for our patients and their families. **Preferred Qualifications** **Role Purpose** Supervision of operations and activities of the Housekeeping Department. **Responsibilities** + Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. + May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals.
