**Job Title: Housekeeping Supervisor** **Job Description** This role involves overseeing the housekeeping operations at a large technical campus, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of facilities, while managing a team of housekeepers and managers. The supervisor will be responsible for maintaining standards in restrooms, offices, and general areas, as well as operating and troubleshooting cleaning equipment. **Responsibilities** + Supervise and lead a team of 15-20 housekeepers and managers. + Oversee general housekeeping tasks, including floor cleaning, restroom maintenance, office sanitation, and waste management. + Manage and hold the team accountable, addressing issues with union personnel. + Operate and troubleshoot cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and carpet cleaners. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 2 years of janitorial or housekeeping supervision experience within a manufacturing environment involving union personnel. + Strong leadership and management skills. + Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting janitorial equipment. + Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, email communication, and data entry. + Ability to coach and train team members, ensuring compliance with union standards. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience creating spreadsheets. + Previous union experience in a hospital or similar environment for janitors or housekeepers. **Why Work Here?** This company offers excellent benefits and has established strong contracts with GM, providing stability and opportunities for growth. **Work Environment** The role is based at the GM Tech Center, a campus with 50 buildings, requiring flexibility for a 2nd shift schedule from 2:30 PM to 12:00 AM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $36.06/hr.
