**Job Title: Housekeeping Manager** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Janitorial Team Supervisor to oversee the janitorial staff and supervisors at a large assembly plant. The role involves managing general housekeeping, floor scrubbing, restroom maintenance, office cleaning, and trash disposal. The supervisor will be responsible for ensuring team accountability and addressing union-related issues. **Responsibilities** + Supervise janitorial staff and supervisors to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the assembly plant. + Oversee general housekeeping tasks including floor scrubbing, restroom maintenance, office cleaning, and trash disposal. + Manage team schedules and processes, ensuring efficient operations and adherence to union standards. + Address and resolve issues with union personnel. + Ensure proper operation and troubleshooting of cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and carpet cleaners. + Coach and train team members, holding them accountable to performance standards. **Essential Skills** + 4+ years of experience in janitorial or housekeeping supervision within a manufacturing environment. + Proficiency in facilities maintenance, sanitizing, janitorial management, and environmental services. + Computer skills, including navigating Microsoft Office, email, Teams, and data entry. + Experience with unionized personnel within a manufacturing setting. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to create spreadsheets. + Experience with union environments within hospitals or other unionized settings for janitors or housekeepers. **Why Work Here?** Join a company known for its strong contracts and excellent benefits. The work schedule primarily involves a 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday, but requires flexibility to cover other shifts as needed in a 24/7 operation. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flint, Michigan. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $36.06 - $36.06/hr.
