About the Job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Housekeeping Attendant to join Jumeirah The Red Sea.
The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:
Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of assigned blocks, including guest corridors, back-of-house areas, stairways, lift landings, guest/service lifts, and service pantries by performing routine cleaning duties.
Collect scattered trash, empty trash containers, replace soiled bedding and bathroom linen with fresh items, and report unpleasant odors to the team leader.
Conduct deep cleaning tasks in designated areas, including bathrooms, closets, door tracks, furniture, and ensuring proper alignment of furniture.
Attending guest calls, requests, and complaints in assigned areas, provide turndown services as per standard requirements, and deliver/retrieve items on loan to guests.
Follow operational standards for replenishment, including inspecting and replacing bathrobes, bathroom linen, tissue, amenities, hangers, extra blankets/pillows, luggage racks, laundry bags, and guest complimentary water.
Keep all equipment on assigned blocks clean and in good working condition to maximize their lifespan.
About You
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
Hold a High School Diploma or Certificate List the basic (minimum) education, certification, and/or licensing needed to be successful in the position.
Bring 1 -2 years of experience in relevant field within the international hospitality industry.
Demonstrate leadership and team management skills.
Show strong attention to detail.
Possess advanced software competencies.
