POSITION SUMMARY
General cleaning of the facility. Terminal cleaning/disinfecting Removal of garbage. Replenishing soap and paper supplies. Additional duties for isolation cleaning as assigned. Other cleaning duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Successful completion of Grade 10. Must successfully complete a pre-hire assessment.
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
Two years of relevant housekeeping experience preferably in health care. Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision. Knowledge of Workplace Safety & Health practices. Knowledge of WHMIS.
OTHER
Ability to lift 50 pounds utilizing appropriate lifting techniques.
