**Job Overview** M Health Fairview is looking for an Housekeeping Aide at our **Southdale location** , in Edina, MN. This position will perform cleaning duties as assigned to keep the facility orderly, attractive, clean and sanitary. This position is represented under the union SEIU. **Location** : Southdale hospital, located in Edina **Hours** : 32 hours biweekly, with every other weekend dedication **Shift** : evening shift **Schedule:** **Week 1:** Thu: 3:00pm - 11:30pm **Week 2:** Tue: 3:00pm - 11:30pm Sat: 3:00pm - 11:30pm Sun: 3:00pm - 11:30pm **Responsibilities** + Clean rooms and areas following set rules and safety steps. + Use cleaning supplies and equipment the right way and keep them in good shape. + Handle trash, dirty linens, and spills safely. + Follow safety signs, wear gloves, and use good body posture to stay safe. + Be kind and respectful to patients, visitors, and coworkers. + Report broken equipment or unsafe situations to your supervisor right away. **Preferred Qualifications** + High School diploma/GED + Previous Housekeeping/Environmental Service experience **Benefit Overview** Fairview offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, PTO/vacation and Safe and Sick Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement and more!
