Housekeepers 2nd Shift
**Job Title: Housekeeper (2nd Shift)** **Job Description** Join a dynamic team in the housekeeping department of a large hospital facility in Washington, DC. You will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the hospital by providing essential cleaning support during the 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM shift. **Responsibilities** + Provide cleaning support throughout the hospital. + Clean hallways, bathrooms, offices, discharge rooms, and common areas. + Change linens, dust, sanitize, sweep, mop, and pull trash. + Deliver excellent customer service and communicate effectively with staff and patients. + Adapt to the needs of the team and perform tasks as required. **Essential Skills** + Minimum of 1 year experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles. + Strong customer service skills. + Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently. + Effective communication skills to foster teamwork and a positive work culture. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Floor technician experience is preferred but not necessary. **Why Work Here?** This is a contract-to-hire position offering the opportunity to be hired permanently by the hospital. Be prepared to handle situations and conditions typical to a hospital environment, which may include challenging smells and situations. Each room must be cleaned within 30-45 minutes, and you will have specific hallway cleaning goals to achieve. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, District of Columbia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
