ResponsibilitiesClean offices, patient/resident rooms, dorms, classrooms, schools, common areas, lavatories, halls, and food service areas.Sweep, mop, scrub, polish floors, and vacuum hallways, stairs, and office spaces.Perform hard-surface floor scrubbing, stripping, and refinishing, as well as carpet spotting and extraction using mechanical equipment.Maintain wood floors, such as in gymnasiums or dance studios, including cleaning, screening, stripping, sanding, and refinishing.Clean light fixtures, ceilings, vents, walls, mattresses, furniture, windows, and window coverings.Use cleaning chemicals properly and safely according to manufacturer and company standards.Empty trash and garbage containers.Change sheets and replenish linens when necessary.Perform routine equipment maintenance and make minor repairs.Drive a golf cart or other vehicles as needed.Move furniture and set up tables and chairs.Notify supervisor about any maintenance repairs or additions needed.Comply with all safety and risk management policies and procedures.Report all accidents and injuries promptly.Participate in regular safety meetings, training, and hazard assessments.Apply all applicable OSHA and local safety requirements to all work.Essential SkillsExperience in cleaning, janitorial work, or similar roles.Ability to use cleaning chemicals safely.Basic maintenance and repair skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience as a waitress, server, bartender, home health aide, janitor, or custodian is beneficial.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The role is based in a hospital setting, requiring a flexible schedule that may include evenings, holidays, weekends, and extended hours as needed. Shifts available are 7am-3:30pm, 3pm-11:30pm, and 11pm-7:30am. The dress code includes black pants (no denim, sweatpants, yoga pants, or spandex), black slip-resistant shoes, black socks, and a provided uniform shirt. Hair must be of a natural color.

This is a Contract position based out of Lancaster, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.19 - $18.19/hr.
