This position provides a clean, safe and pleasant environment for residents, staff and visitors. Cleans public areas of the building as assigned. This environmental services schedule includes; + 48 hours every two weeks + Day shift + Every third weekend rotation **Meadows on Fairview Senior Living,** is Ebenezer’s 51 Unit Assisted Living Building, located in Wyoming, MN near Highway 35, County Roads 8, and 61. Conveniently across the street from Fairview Lakes Hospital and Dialysis center offering a full continuum of care for our residents. Our tenured staff is dedicated to healing, discovering and educating for longer, healthier and substantial lives. **Responsibilities** + Cleans resident and common areas of the community as assigned. + Performs thorough cleaning of all assigned areas, including vacuums carpets, sweeps and mops hard floor surfaces, dusts and/or damp wipes surfaces, sanitizes bathrooms, cleans all glass windows/mirrors. + Prioritizes tasks and completes within allotted time. + Assists in cleaning emergency spills as needed. + Assumes other responsibilities as assigned. + Follows cleaning schedule and instructions regarding specifications of resident’s individualized housekeeping needs. + Performs job duties safely, using correct body mechanics and personal protective equipment. + Safely mixes chemicals according to instructions provided by the manufacturer + Consistently follows safe body mechanics + Demonstrates precautionary work practices for the safety of others in the work areas, such as electric cords, wet floor signs, etc. + Completes all OSHA training modules in a timely manner. + Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies. + Maintains housekeeping cart and storage area on daily basis. + Safeguards others’ well-being by keeping chemicals and other hazardous materials locked when not in active use. + Communicates supplies that need to be re-stocked. + Communicates need for equipment repairs. + Adheres to all Lockout/Tagout requirements per policy. + Assists with light maintenance tasks as needed. + Participates actively in team meetings, reports on current state in the Community, providing feedback on housekeeping-related items as they arise. **Required Qualifications** + less than 1 year of experience + Ability to utilize software programs in order to complete work functions. **Preferred Qualifications** + High School Diploma or + GED + 1 to 3 years of experience + Experience utilizing software programs such as Educare or TELS in order to complete necessary job functions **Benefit Overview** Ebenezer offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
