The #1 Priority of this position is… 

To maintain a clean, healthy environment for visitors and staff that promotes good mental and physical health in pleasant surroundings free of litter, germs and debris. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

Clean apartments, public areas including restrooms, elevators, stairways, offices, pool area, changing rooms and other designated areas in & out of the building. Dust all furniture, lamps, TV, pictures, window edges, blinds, and air conditioner vents. Polish & scrub showers, sinks, mirrors and other fixtures. Keep the facility clean and free of hazards at all times. Transport trash to designated areas. Ensure that equipment and work areas are clean and orderly at all times. Wash personal clothing required for resident.

Qualifications 

Must have at least 2 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel or healthcare setting. A high school degree or equivalent preferred. Must be able to communicate in English. Spanish preferred.

 The Ideal Candidate 

Responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented. Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays and in emergency situations. Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task.  Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member. Demonstrate good verbal communications, interpersonal skills and empathetic listening.
