**Job Title: Housekeeper** **Job Description** As a housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of linen supplies within a hospital setting. Your day will start with collecting dirty linens and preparing them for transport to be cleaned. Once cleaned linens are returned, you will unload and store them in the designated storage area. Your primary task will be to stock linen carts and deliver them to various hospital floors, ensuring each floor's storage closet is maintained at the required par level. You will be responsible for tracking the location, amount, and types of linen delivered and entering this information upon your return to the linens department. **Responsibilities** + Load dirty linens onto a truck for cleaning and unload clean linens into storage. + Stock linen carts and deliver them to hospital floors. + Maintain accurate records of linen location, amount, and types at each delivery point. + Utilize an iPad to scan bins and manage inventory. + Distribute cleaned linens to designated floors and stock closets. + Work independently and make quick decisions throughout the day. **Essential Skills** + Experience in stocking, housekeeping, custodial, and general labor tasks. + Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift. + Proficiency in using an iPad for inventory management. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with other hospital employees. + Ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations. **Why Work Here?** This role offers a unique opportunity to join a large hospital system without prior hospital experience, allowing you to grow your skills.
