Job Title: Housekeeper

Job Description

The housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning non-occupied patient rooms in a hospital setting. This role requires deep cleaning, which typically takes 20-30 minutes per room, including making the bed, flipping the mattress, and thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting the entire room. The technician will also handle linens, placing them into large, heavy bags to be disposed of appropriately. Additional responsibilities include cleaning isolation rooms, which require strict adherence to safety protocols and thorough mopping using a string mop.

Responsibilities

Clean non-occupied patient rooms with deep cleaning protocols.Make beds and flip mattresses.Disinfect entire rooms thoroughly.Manage linens and dispose of them properly.Clean isolation rooms following strict safety measures.Thoroughly mop and clean isolation rooms.

Essential Skills

Custodial, janitorial, and housekeeping skills.Customer service skills.Excellent communication skills.No attendance issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

At least 6 months of previous hospital or hotel cleaning experience.Ability to interact effectively with patients, nurses, doctors, and housekeeping team.Strong customer service orientation.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Round Rock, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.75 - $18.50/hr.
