Located in the heart of Scottsdale, Arizona, our hotel features 213 stylish guest rooms and 8,000 sq ft of versatile meeting space, offering a perfect blend of modern sophistication and comfort. Overview Basic Function The Hotel Supervisor ensures smooth and elevated guest experience by maintaining a strong presence across all key guest-facing departments—Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Food & Beverage. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, quick-thinking problem-solver, and hands-on leader who upholds exceptional service standards, operational efficiency, and safety, especially during overnight hours and peak times. Essential Functions Serve as a visible leader on the floor—anticipating guest needs, resolving issues, and jumping in wherever needed. Step in to assist in rooms division operations (Front Desk, Housekeeping, Engineering) as needed, particularly during peak times, events, or staffing shortages. Step in to assist in outlet operations as needed, particularly during peak times, events, or staffing shortages. Provide guidance, coaching, and direction to front-line staff to ensure seamless service delivery and adherence to hotel standards. Monitor security of property entrances, guestroom hallways, and public areas, and escalate concerns to appropriate personnel when needed. Document all incidents, guest feedback, and shift handovers to ensure accurate reporting and accountability. Maintain a strong presence in guest areas to ensure cleanliness, ambiance, and safety protocols are consistently upheld. Monitor staff productivity and support the team in maintaining a positive, high-performance environment. Remain alert and updated while monitoring the safety and security standards for the property. Be courteous and helpful to guests at all times. Assist with respectful de-escalation and support when necessary. Initiate appropriate security or emergency response procedures as applicable. Support and collaborate closely with Front Desk and Housekeeping teams to manage room readiness, guest requests, and shift coverage. Qualifications Qualifications 2+ years of experience in hotel operations preferred. Experience with Property Management Systems (PMS) and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, particularly Lightspeed and MICROS, is strongly preferred. Strong leadership and decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations. Must be able to work evenings (anticipated schedule of 4pm to 12pm) and maintain flexible availability for weekends and holidays. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to respond to guest or emergency needs promptly and effectively. Basic First Aid and CPR certification preferred (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
