Are you a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in keeping buildings safe, comfortable, and guest-ready? Hilton Madison Monona Terrace is seeking a reliable Hotel Maintenance Technician to support daily hotel operations through preventative maintenance, timely repairs, and attention to detail.

As a member of our engineering team, you will play a vital behind-the-scenes role in delivering exceptional guest experiences. From guest rooms to public spaces and back-of-house areas, your work ensures our hotel remains welcoming, functional, and well-maintained at all times.

What Will You Be Doing?

In this multi-skilled maintenance role, you will help maintain the hotel’s physical assets and respond to maintenance needs across the property:

Perform routine preventative maintenance throughout the hotel, including guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical spacesInspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and mechanical systemsRespond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional mannerIdentify potential maintenance issues and recommend proactive solutionsComplete minor repairs such as drywall, painting, fixtures, doors, locks, and furnitureMaintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, and inspection documentationEnsure tools, equipment, and work areas are clean, safe, and organizedFollow all safety procedures and support overall engineering operations

What Will You Bring to the Role?

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented technician who enjoys working in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Qualifications include:

High school diploma or equivalentAbility to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to perform basic math3–4 years of general maintenance or repair experience preferredExperience using standard maintenance and repair toolsAbility to read simple drawings and specificationsAbility to estimate materials needed for repairsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to recognize early signs of equipment or building issuesStrong communication and documentation skillsTeam-oriented mindset with a commitment to quality workmanshipAvailability to work weekends or holidays preferred
