Hotel Investment Analyst Job ID 229309 Posted 15-Jul-2025 Service line Advisory Segment Role type Full-time Areas of Interest Capital Markets, Investment Management Location(s) Budapest - Budapest - Hungary As a **Hotel Investment Analyst** , you will be an integral member of **CBRE Hungary’s Hotel Team** , contributing to a wide range of high-impact projects. Your role will involve supporting clients throughout hotel investment transactions—both on the buy and sell side—as well as assisting in hotel operator search and selection processes and the preparation of feasibility studies. You will work closely with the Head of Hotels, providing key support through financial analysis, the creation of marketing materials, market research, and the delivery of other essential project outputs. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage with leading industry stakeholders, contribute to landmark hotel transactions and operator selection mandates, and gain hands-on experience in the dynamic field of hotel investments. **Key Responsibilities** + Contribute actively to the Hotel Team’s mandates, including hotel brokerage (acquisitions and disposals), operator search and selection processes, commercial due diligence, and feasibility study preparation + Develop and analyze detailed hotel financial models, review financial statements, business plans, and annual budgets + Conduct strategic market research on the hospitality sector, identifying trends, benchmarks, and investment opportunities + Support operator and brand selection processes, including reviewing and analyzing lease, management and franchise agreements and term sheets + Assist in the creation of high-quality marketing materials such as teasers, investment memoranda, and sales brochures + Prepare and deliver client-facing presentations, pitch materials, and project status reports + Build in-depth knowledge of the hotel market, including property locations, ownership structures, specifications, and operating models + Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities and operator selection targets + Engage with clients to source opportunities, promote CBRE’s services, and strengthen the firm’s market presence and brand reputation + Provide regular updates and progress reports to the Head of Hotels on ongoing assignments + Produce investment and market insight presentations for internal and external stakeholders + Accompany clients and investors on property site visits and inspections + Maintain and update the hotel investment database, ensuring accurate tracking of market activity and transactions + Represent CBRE at industry events, networking functions, and real estate conferences as needed **Qualifications** + 1 - 2 years of work experience in either hotel consulting, hotel brokerage, feasibility analysis, hotel management or similar role + General hotel industry knowledge and understanding + Undergraduate degree in Hotel Management / Finance / Economics / Real Estate or related field + Ability to work with and build financial spreadsheets (in Excel), format documents (Word), prepare PowerPoint presentations + Experience in preparing and analyzing hotel profit and loss projections based on USALI standards + General understanding of hotel operating models (lease, management, franchise) + Passion for the hotel industry, with a proactive interest in tourism, hospitality, and investment market trends + Ability to network and develop client relationships and contacts; + Fluency in English both oral and written + Able to work alone and together with in a team; + Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task; + Able to work under short deadlines and embrace pressure **What we offer** + Competitive Cafeteria package: SZÉP card, health fund, BKK pass, housing allowance, student loan subsidy + Annual Bonus + Voluntary pension fund + Professional trainings and language teaching + Referral Bonus + Sports discounts + Open, supportive workplace atmosphere + Year-round community-building programs, team building events: monthly chill Thursdays, CBRE tour, office yoga, CBRE Master Chef cooking competition + Wellbeing benefits: free mental health counseling from professionals, office massage, 100% reimbursement of sick leave, 3 days of paid sick leave per year, 2 fruit days per week CBRE, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer (Women/Minorities/Persons with Disabilities/US Veterans)
