The Yard Driver is responsible for moving tractor trailers to/from the loading docks and parking loaded or empty trailers in designated areas in a safe and timely manner and in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and perform any duty assigned to best serve the company.

Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Performs inspections and moves trailers safely following all DOT regulations and company safe-driving policies.Fuels, moves, and parks tractors and trailers to the docks.Tractor trailers will be moved around the facility, no city driving.Secures trucks, trailers, and equipment always. Performs other related duties as assigned.The ideal candidate should possess the following:Able to back up to the dockAbility to back up within tight spaces on the yardBe safe and vigilant while working on the yard
