Hospital Housekeeping Technician
**Job Title: EVS Technician** **Job Description** As an EVS Technician, you will be responsible for cleaning non-occupied patient rooms, ensuring they are thoroughly disinfected and sanitized. Each room requires deep cleaning, which typically takes 20-30 minutes. You will also be tasked with making the bed, flipping the mattress, and ensuring all linens are properly handled and disposed of. Additionally, you will be responsible for cleaning isolation rooms, which requires adherence to strict safety protocols and thorough cleaning procedures. **Responsibilities** + Clean and disinfect non-occupied patient rooms, ensuring a thorough job. + Make beds and flip mattresses as part of the room cleaning process. + Handle and dispose of linens properly by placing them in heavy bags and disposing of them correctly. + Clean isolation rooms by following strict safety measures and using a string mop for thorough mopping. + Ensure excellent customer service and effective communication with patients, nurses, doctors, and the housekeeping team. **Essential Skills** + 6 months of previous hospital or hotel cleaning/housekeeping experience. + Excellent communication skills for interacting with a diverse range of individuals, including patients, nurses, and doctors. + Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. + Reliable attendance and a strong sense of responsibility. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping roles. + Ability to work effectively in a hospital environment and maintain a team-oriented mentality. **Why Work Here?** Join a supportive and dynamic work environment where making someone's day is a priority.
