Hospital Facilities Technician
Job Title: Building Maintenance Technician - Night Weekend Shift

Job Description

The Building Maintenance Technician provides routine and specialized building repair and maintenance support for hospital facilities, equipment, and properties. Utilizing a computerized maintenance management system, you will identify and correct issues in mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and control systems. Your role involves providing technical support and guidance to facility staff in the repair and operation of equipment and utilities, participating in safety programs, and engaging in educational and training opportunities.

ResponsibilitiesPerform routine and specialized building repair and maintenance for hospital facilities.Utilize computerized maintenance management systems to identify and resolve issues.Diagnose and repair mechanical systems, including pumps, belt drivers, gear reduction drives, piping, and valve replacements.Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems for wastewater distribution and disposal.Install, test, maintain, and diagnose electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and fixtures.Provide technical support and guidance to facility staff in equipment operation and repair.Participate in hospital and departmental safety programs, educational opportunities, and training.Essential SkillsProficiency in electrical, facility maintenance, plumbing, and HVAC systems.Strong troubleshooting skills in pneumatics, preventive maintenance, lighting, and cooling towers.Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and utility systems.Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams.Ability to work effectively unsupervised and in teams.Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsProficient in using computerized systems for job performance.Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work inside a hospital facility during night shifts. The role requires working from 7pm to 7am on Saturdays, Sundays, and Mondays, totaling 36 hours, with compensation for 40 hours. The position demands flexibility for weekends, holidays, and overtime work.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $36.00/hr.
