Be the Best Hospice Executive Director You Can Be

If you meet these qualifications, we want to meet you!

Bachelors Degree and/or leadership experience, in a healthcare setting preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWorking knowledge of computer programs, especially Microsoft Office Suite products and EMR systemsMeet the regulations and requirements of the state in which the program provides services.

Responsibilities:

Ensure hospice follows all applicable Federal, State and Local laws, including;Compliance, maintenance and submission of all required reports and records to Federal, State,
accreditation, and Local regulatory departmentsMaintaining accreditation, when applicableMaintaining a state of survey readinessProvide leadership and oversight to support growth through strategic implementation of relationship expansion plans
in collaboration with the Business Development teamsManage overall financial performance of the program site which includes oversight of all controllable costsParticipate in annual development of the program site’s budgetOrganizes, manages, and administers hospice resources to provide hospice care and services to patients, families,
and caregivers necessary for the palliation and management of the terminal illness and related conditionsIs responsible for the day-to-day hospice operationsEnsure the hospice offers a coordinated plan of care for all patients/families while maintaining overall management
of careEnsures care provided optimizes the patient and family’s comfort and dignityEnsures care provided is consistent with patient and family needs
and goals, with the patient’s needs and goals as a priority
