Apollo Home Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to provide in-home physical therapy visits across Alameda County. This is a W-2 per diem role ideal for PTAs looking for schedule flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful patient relationships. You’ll treat patients in their homes, collaborate closely with a supervising Physical Therapist, and be supported by a local clinical team. What You’ll Do + Provide in-home physical therapy treatments under PT supervision + Help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence + Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and safe movement + Complete visit documentation in a timely manner + Communicate changes in patient condition to the supervising PT Requirements + Graduate of an accredited PTA program + Active California PTA license + CPR/BLS certification + Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally around Alameda County + Home health experience + Experience with the Kinnser/Wellsky EMR preferred (not required) Benefits + $70-85/visit + $30/hour for training + Mileage reimbursement + Cell phone reimbursement + Flexible schedule – choose your availability + Supportive clinical team + Obran Cooperative Membership + $300 signing bonus for per diem PTA, paid as: + $100 after completion of your first patient visit + $200 after 60 days of active employment, contingent on meeting role expectations and performance standards About Obran Cooperative Apollo is part of Obran Cooperative, a worker-owned healthcare organization building a better alternative to traditional healthcare employment.
