Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Medical Assembler to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling various medical devices using hand tools, microscopes, and other equipment in a full clean room environment. This role requires someone who is quick to learn and can handle intricate processes with precision.

Responsibilities

Assemble medical devices using hand tools and microscopes.Cross-train at different stations to ensure versatility.Handle and maneuver small components with great dexterity.Work under a microscope to assemble parts accurately.Perform inspections to ensure quality standards are met.Adhere to clean room protocols and safety regulations.Communicate effectively in English for audit purposes.

Essential Skills

Good verbal and written communication skills in English.Great hand dexterity and ability to handle small parts.Understanding of measurements using rulers and calipers.Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly.Strong organizational skills.Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Preferably 6 months or more of experience in medical assembly or similar manufacturing/assembly roles, but open to entry-level candidates.Experience with microscopes and clean room environments is advantageous.Longevity in previous positions and a desire for long-term career opportunities are valued.

Work Environment

The work is conducted in a full clean room environment where cleanliness and safety are paramount. Employees are required to wear a hair net, gown, booties, and ensure cleanliness by washing hands before entering the clean room. The dress code prohibits nail polish, long fake nails, makeup, fragrances, henna tattoos, and pants with holes. Closed-toe shoes are mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plymouth, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $19.25/hr.
